Death is one of three High Beings in the Life Multiverse, as well as the leader of the Death Warriors.
History[]
Early History[]
Death's origins remain mysterious; however, it is known that he was once a guardian of light.
The Fall of Life[]
Death, having become a tall, black-armored figure through unknown means, was teleported from an unknown location to a spot on Planet Prime, the central region of the Life Multiverse. From there, he devastated the planet with an ocean of molten lava and annihilated all the Skrall guardians that Life had created to defend his Palace. After a heated battle with Life himself, the creator of the multiverse, Death emerged victorious and locked Life's spirit in the Ignika Mask of Life. However, the arrival of the Toa Nuva from the planet Rygnos managed to keep him from taking the mask for himself and conquering the multiverse, and Lewa Nuva escaped with the mask in tow. Frustrated, Death vowed revenge, and began to secretly build an army called the "Death Warriors", its purpose being to conquer all remaining portions of the multiverse that did not obey him.
Into the Inferno[]
Two Toa, Luus and Tanma, appeared at the bottom of the Mountain. After the transformation of Tanma into a Gligg Rahi, Luus faced Death alone and stabbed him. However, it failed to penetrate his armor, and he sliced off all of Luus' limbs, kicking her body into the swamp below.
The Projects[]
Death assigned his lieutenant Durx two projects, the first being to assemble an army of Gligg. the second is currently unknown.

Death is extremely arrogant, certain that nothing can stop him, which is a claim he can back up. He carries a vast array of powers, listed below:

Death has extreme control over his powers, and has the ability to grant them to others. They can be channeled through his Shadow Blade (with some exceptions: i.e., channeling powers such as Molecular Disruption will cause the blade to explode), and some, such as Mind Control, may or may not be effective against Toa, depending on the Toa's strength of will. In addition, Death appears to be able to predict the future, but this is not a power. He was once in possession of the power of Light.
